During this very unusual time in our lives we want to continually reassure you that we are following all of the CDC and MSDE recommendations along with our child care regulations. All of our staff and children 5 and up are wearing masks throughout the day. We are cleaning all toys, often touched surfaces and frequently washing hands. Although we are unable to give tours during our normal operating hours we would be happy to schedule a tour after hours. You may call us at 410-939-7065. Every day at PlayPlace is filled with lots of learning and fun experiences. We have made sure that we have lots of both planned for your children. Although due to COVID-19 we are unable to schedule our regular out of the building field trips, we can’t wait to have your children here with us each day. “We love your kids”!!

Homework

The school-age classroom does allow time for children to do their homework, however; we do not assume responsibility to make sure that it is completed. We will try to help out if your child is having problems but their work still needs to be checked at home.

Field Trips, Activities & Summer Camp

Children ages 2 and up may go on several field trips throughout the year (more during the summer). Each field trip will be announced ahead of time and must be paid for by the specified due date.

Our school age programs (Kindergarten and up) offer "summer camp" throughout the summer months. This will consist of many field trips and special activities. We plan everything and charge an activity fee, which will cover all admissions, bus costs, etc. needed for each trip or activity. The fee needs to be paid by the due date in order for your child to attend over the summer. By planning fun and educational activities and field trips, your child will have a fun and exciting summer. All field trips and activities are supervised by our experienced and trained staff.

Spend the Summer with PlayPlace, America

During the summer, we offer a well supervised school age summer camp for ages 5-12. The summer camp will consist of exciting field trips, special activities, water play days, picnics, and more.

Take a train ride

To Washington D.C. and visit the National Zoo.

Enchanted Fairytales

We blast back to the days of prince,princess, knights, and magic! We will take a trip to the Enchanted Kingdom for a day. We will also take a fun filled trip to Medieval Times.

Lets Garden

We will learn about all types of gardening and children will plant seeds. We will visit the Steppingstone Farm Museum and also learn about farming. We will also visit the Harford County Farm Fair.

All About Baseball

America's favorite pastime is ours also. We will go to an Orioles game at Camden Yards! We will learn about baseball and play our own games.

Lets Go Camping

We will have an indoor campout, with tents and smores! Learn about camping safety and make camp crafts. We will take a trip to the Conowingo Pool and enjoy a picnic lunch. We will also take a trip to Amazing Glaze and Annie's Playground.

Bowling and much more!

There is a one time activity fee which covers all trips over the summer in addition to the regular weekly tuition. You get a lot for your money.
